A second billboard citing Barack Obama’s quote, “We are no longer a Christian nation” was posted on I-94 near Rogers, MN late last week. The new billboard is located just up the road from a billboard with Ronald Reagan’s quote, “If ever we forget we are one nation under God, we will be one nation gone under.” Both billboards are visible to east-bound traffic on I-94 coming into the Twin Cities. The new billboard has apparently generated quite a bit of angst amongst some people, as evidence by the discussion on our Feedback page.

If you live in Texas, keep an eye out for this mobile billboard truck that is making its way around the Houston area. The folks at Freedom Billboards of Texas have sponsored this mobile billboard that posses the question “What Legacy are We Leaving Our Children?” with a chart of the national debt. The reverse side of the truck features a board with the average federal government debt owed by a newborn infant born in the United States today.

This billboard which appears between Minneapolis and St. Paul on I94 exposes who really benefits from proposed tax increases by the Democrats. Its organized labor, specifically teachers and other public employee unions. While private employers have shed nearly 124,000 jobs since the start of the recession, state and local government has actually increased employment by 4,000 jobs. Talk about out-of-touch with reality.

Salon reports today that a group of freedom-loving Texans have launched a campaign to post Freedom Boards across the Houston, Texas area. “I’m fighting back — the only way I know how,” says Dennis Frakes, co-founder of Freedom Billboards of Texas and vice-president of a Houston oil and gas engineering firm.
A review of the comments posted at Salon regarding the article shows that our project is having an impact. These billboards are DRIVING LIBERALS CRAZY. This should be an incentive for other freedom-loving patriots to launch billboard campaigns in other states.
We encouage people to visit Billboards of Texas website and support their efforts.
