  1. Douglas Toavs says:

This is very disheartening. These issues are so much more complex than what you can get on a billboard. The messages clearly communicate a fundamental lack of willingness to engage with the whole issue but a deep need to lash out at something or someone.

Democracy is not based on “If you don’t agree with me, then get out!” That’s a very different form of government.

I see these billboards as one more attempt to pit American against American. They speak for and to a cadre of folks who aren’t willing to live with the complexity of a democracy in which all citizens have a voice, but that doesn’t mean you get your way. This is a propagation of the ideology of: You shut up because I’m right. You’re stupid because you don’t see it my way. If you don’t like it, leave. I didn’t vote for the president, so let’s make him fail. I’m not paying taxes because it pays for some bum’s welfare check.

The American form of democracy is complex and messy. It doesn’t promise that you’ll get your way. It does promise justice and fairness. It promises protections under the Bill of Rights and 200 years of laws. It shifts over time — some times in your direction and sometimes in my direction. Under Bush, we lost privacy of phone conversations and emails. You could be thrown into Gitmo and tortured. Now under Obama, those things can’t happen anymore, but you have to acquire insurance to ensure a healthier America. Under Clinton, the budget was turned around so the last fiscal year was in the black. Bush reversed it and doubled the national debt. Sometimes it really sucks, but that’s America.

On one hand, the banks can take huge risks with other people’s money because the regulators were told to create an environment in which the economy could prosper. It almost brought down the entire world economy. On the other hand, if I’m late on a credit card payment, my new high-risk interest rate can make repayment impossible. Their drive for profits contribues to my finackal distress.

So enough with the small minded billboards. Engage in real conversation with people including those with whom you disagree. Because I disagree with your approach doesn’t mean I hate America. Quite the contrary. Ironically there IS room for both of us here. And even more ironically, if we work together, we both win and are better off.

    Sincerely,
    Douglas Toavs

    • Maxene Linehan says:

Douglas Toavs’ intelligent reply was right on target, I cannot say it any better. When I saw the billboard I had to find those behind it and give an answer: no, I haven’t had near enough hope and change yet. One of the changes I most enjoy is that when you write President Obama, even a letter of a critical nature, the White House actually responds, unlike the previous administration. This is a big step back toward democracy.
As someone who treasures Earth and wildlife, I am hoping President Obama will continue to set limits on the oil industry, which played an important part in obtaining deregulation from the previous administration. Yes, that would be taking away freedoms from corporations…freedom to destroy environment, livelihoods, and wildlife in the name of profits.
No, I definitely have not had enough hope and change. I am glad to see you are actually publishing opposing comments. Thank you.

    • dan rowe says:

face it boys and girls .. the hope and change snow job was just another brand of rotten politics as usual.
However in this case the ringleader is a devout leftist radical.
In about 5 minutes as history goes , the [stuff] is gonna hit the fan, one way or another.
Either the election in november will balance things out, and elected officials will begin to represent their constitutents for a change ,or the next bunch will bear the full brunt of something that I am truly fearfull of, ….yet I recognize the words of our founding fathers and respect the fourthought that was put into the united states constitution and all of the amendments as well as the declaration of independence……..
      think about it………..

  2. Gennifer Johnson says:

I perosnally do not support the Democratic or Republican party. I am Green Party and Libertarian. I understand the last gentlemans concern but I don’t think he understands that alot of people do not want governement interfering with our freedom of choice, and having to look to the government for a HAND OUT or take care of us, the down fall of this is we lose our right to choose. The government decides FOR US. This is like if you went to the store to choose a tie and someone else decides FOR YOU what color, style, or brand it will be. This is what is in store for us with Obama care or ANY care from the government. People are too ignorant to just sit around and not care what happens to our country. Too glued to the television, working constantly just to make ends meet, and just accepting everything that’s handed to them at face value with out asking questions. We need these billboards for real change to occur. People do not realize what is at stake. People do need to wake up and stop being part of the staus quo.
    Gennifer Johnson

  3. El says:

I think this is a GREAT idea. A suggestion would be to also have a place on your site where an individual in a particular locality who wants to sponsor a billboard but needs more $ contributions, can go and get more contributors. Thanks for being so brave and creative and having the billboard idea!

    • George says:

I agree, thru your website people need a simple way of donating to a specific sign or to a group of signs in an area. I think this will be very effective.

      • doctorforeman says:

Please see our message boards to coordinate with people in your area. We’ve already seen a serious group pop up in Texas. Groups are forming in other states.

  4. TugboatPhil says:

Thank you for giving a voice to those of us that remember America as a Constitutional Republic, and not as a “winner take all” democracy.

  5. Jeff says:

“Disheartening”? Freedom of expression? I will agree that we have become polarized but that is what your man Obama is doing in his CLASS WARFARE and RACE vs RACE baiting. Hold your elected officials responsible for that not WE THE PEOPLE.

Doug, there are two hands. You say under Bush we lost privacy? I believe we have lost more liberties under Obama in one year than we did with Bush in eight! And speaking of other hands, it was Clinton’s other hand known as Newt’s Congress that guided his other!

I applaud your effort in trying to reach out but your reasoning is a bit off base. That said we need to all work together and that starts by localizing government not making it a bigger Federal power. If billboards are the way to get out that message than so be it. We will not get it from the biased media or the dishonest White House.

    Jeff

  6. Bill says:

I would gladly send you a picture of the tailgate of my truck! It reads: “If you won’t stand behind our troops – feel
free to stand in front of them” with an American flag and “God Bless the USA”.
    a veteran

    • Ken says:

Supporting our elected PRESIDENT does NOT mean we do not support our troops. I am a veteran who will defend our constitution and our commander-in-chief to the death, even against you scared hypocritical hate-mongering conservative pukes! Bring your guns to the fight! I will!

  7. Jani Estrada says:

    Hello,
These are fabulous! Messaging through sophistry and demagoguery is what the WH uses to our demise. Let’s fight back with the truth! I would like to know if a church can sponsor a billboard. I know we are not allowed to promote a particular candidate, but we certainly can speak out on the issues without putting our non-profit status at risk.
    Jani

  8. Jim De Koekkoek says:

I think this is terrific idea and would also be interested in purchasing bumper stickers. Could you possible make these available?

  9. Paul in NJ says:

    Grammar Flame Alert!

“Wake-up America!” — when hyphenated, “wake-up” is an adjective, as in “This is your wake-up call.” Omit the hyphen: “Wake Up, America!”

“Hey Greece, Thanks for the heads-up!” — here again, when hyphenated, “heads-up” is an adjective, as in a “heads-up alert” to describe a warning. Omit the hyphen: “Hey, Greece… Thanks for the heads up!”

Personally, I’d suggest something like “Hey, Greece, Thanks for showing Obama how it’s done!”

    Seriously: bad grammar is a tip-off. ;}

  10. sko says:

All these people complaining about their freedoms being taken away must have been asleep at the switch during the Bush years. “Homeland Security”, Patriot Act, FISA- all of these have eroded our civil liberties at the hands of law enforcement, but did you complain? Did you protest? No.
It’s a little late to be complaining now.
“We are not a collection of blue states or red states, but the United States of America”- President Barack Obama

  11. Katie says:

Thank you. From New Mexico, a Sanctuary state that sadly voted for Obama. Many of us want the Republican Party to go back in time to what it used to stand for: moral and ethical decency. Until then…Tea Partiers will probably get my vote.

  12. Eric says:

I would love to see one of these put up right outside city hall in downtown Chicago. It is great to see that CBS even allows you to put up a banner against Obama! I’d love to see one of these bilboards in Obama’s hometown, and the political fallout that will come with it. Living in the suburbs, there is a lot of discontent with the Obamanites. I for one have not turned 18 yet, but when I do, it will be time for his re-election. I’ll get a shirt on my birthday that will read the following “My First Vote Was To Kick Obama Out!”! Keep up the good work!

    Eric

  13. YOU ARE AMERICAN HEROES!!! THANK YOU FOR THESE BILLBOARDS!!!

  14. jwf says:

    Dear readers,

I think this is great since the Dem’s are trying to muzzle everyone that does not think the same way as they do. It is my right to speak out just as it is yours and my other right is that I don’t have to get along with everyone. If their morals and belief system is such that compromises mine I don’t have to associate, that again is a God given right.

As Americans we should have learned in elementary school reading, writing and arithmetic. The real discussion is how and why we have elected a group that cannot read a bill that they wrote and is fiscally irresponsible for the debt it incurs because they lack math skills. Since you think it is small minded to have an open discussion and pit (as you stated) Americans against Americans, maybe some of those folks who don’t want to talk (such as the Democrats) should understand the law of physics. When you have filled the container to the top it is going to spill out and sometimes with more vigor and intelligence than the individual filling the container had in the first place. I know it will be difficult for some to understand why they cannot have their way, but here is a simple test for those not capable of understanding the equation. Give your teenagers your checkbook, credit card and retirement and tell them to be financially responsible with your money so you will have food on the table, a roof over your head and gas in your tank so you can get back and forth to work. Oh and make sure they save enough money for you to go to the doctor because there is no telling how much that is going to cost. Let me describe your outcome. You will be living on the street eating canned dog food or worse as a delicacy with no car and praying to God (the real one) that a Terrorist or Illegal Alien Gang Member would shoot you in the night because of the grave mistake you made believing that some one else could take care of you better than yourself.

Please wake up and stop living in a fantasy world.

    JWF

  15. worried4america says:

I love what you’re doing. Keep up the great work. The one showing Obama shredding the Constitution says it all. That one speaks volumes. Maybe also you should put up bills showing links to web site that shows the connection to Obama, Valerie Jarrett, Maurice Strong, who know one knows about, he’s quiet behind the scene but a powerful billionaire pushing the global warming scam and has made billions from it like Al Gore, it’s called CCX in Chicago and Bill Ayers Son is involved with this organization and Al Gore has GSM Investments tied into this from years ago, it’s a huge story.

maybe you could say Global Warming, Cap and Tax, really? What’s in it for Obama, Al Gore, Valerie Jarrett, Bill Ayer’s son, CCX these people stand to make trillions on our dime based on a hoax

    • Lynne says:

I’m glad One World Order was brought up. Americans, wake up to the connection of the world’s billionaires (Bilderberg Cabal) and the Gulf spill! Warren Buffet is the 2nd largest shareholder in the company that makes the toxic oil dispersant!!!!(Please read this, I used to think it was a conspiracy theory too.) The Bilderberg Group, the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR) and the Trilateral Commission (TC) have, started in 1954, become a shadow government whose top priority is to erase the sovereignty of all nation-states and supplant them with global corporate control of their economies under the surveillance of “an electronic global police state.”
The True Story of the Bilderberg Group author, Daniel Estulin emphasizes that not all members of the group are “bad” people, and he implies that membership is structured somewhat like concentric circles in a target scheme within inner core and various levels of relationship between that core and the outer circles of membership. Almost every famous player in politics and finance in the world is a member of one of the three organizations mentioned above, and their political affiliations range from liberal to conservative, for example, Warren Buffett, Gates, George Soros, Gerald Ford, Gore, George McGovern, Jimmy Carter.
In David Rockefellers 2002 memoirs (his family, since the beginning has been about globalism and some argue he is in control of this collapse.) he states “some have accused me of being part of a secret group, a cabal which is working against the best interests of America in order to bring in global governance, one world if you will. If thats the charge I stand guilty and am proud of it”.
Many of these same people own stock in, or are associated with NALCO which is providing Corexit, a toxic, (BANNED IN EUROPE) expensive, oil dispersant in the Gulf. (All of the facts I refer to, I have seen, and were well documented, but the blog that listed them all has been removed.) The researcher tied together all the reasons why this disaster may have been planned and why it’s not being fixed.
NALCO is based in CHICAGO, and will be drowning in cash, by using Corexit (workers are already getting sick) and collecting the oil, instead of fixing the leak! NALCO has subsidiaries in Brazil, Russia, India, China and Indonesia and is associated with UChicago Argonne program. UChicago Argonne received $164 million dollars in stimulus funds this past year. UChicago Argonne just added two new executives to their roster, One from NALCO. The other from the Ill. Dept of Education.
MOST IMPORTANT: NALCO is also associated with Warren Buffett, Maurice Strong, Al Gore, Soros, Apollo, Blackstone, Goldman Sachs, Hathaway Berkshire. Also, NALCO SHARES EXECUTIVES WITH BP! Warren Buffet /Hathaway Berkshire increased their holdings in NALCO just last November. (Timing is everything). Buffett picked up 8.7 million shares. That makes Berkshire the second-largest shareholder in the company, with a little more than 6% of the shares.

We must send this on to every congressman, governor, meetup group we can find, particularly in the South, to shine the light on this evil outrage! If you’ve never gotten involved with anything, get involved NOW!

  16. worried4america says:

the CCX Exchange is worth looking into and putting it out there on the billboards.

here’s more to the story, take the time to read this and investigate this and put the word out there. It’s scary as hell.

    Assembling the Team

During 2000 and 2001, the Joyce Foundation, a progressive trust with assets near $1 billion, known for funding groups like Center for American Progress and Tides Foundation, provided grants to CCX totaling $1.1 million. State Senator Obama served on the foundation’s board of directors during that time and was instrumental in awarding the grants.

Shortly after the first grant was approved, the president of The Joyce Foundation, Paula DiPerna, left to join the executive team of CCX. Other notables with familiar names soon followed.

    • Former Vice-President Al Gore became part-owner of CCX when his company, Generation Investment Management, made a sizeable investment. Gore brought with him his senior partner at GIM, David Blood, former CEO of Goldman Sachs Asset Management, along with a company chalk full of former Goldman Sachs’ executives

    • Goldman Sachs itself soon joined the team buying a ten percent interest in CCX

    • Maurice Strong, once linked to Tongsun Park, the central figure in the United Nation’s oil-for-food scandal in 2005 and one of the architects of the Kyoto Protocol, joined the CCX board of directors

    • Carlton Bartels was one of the first, and perhaps most important, additions to the CCX roster. As CEO of a company called CO2e, Bartels developed and delivered the actual guts of the exchange — a system for facilitating and managing the actual carbon trades

    Strange Bedfellows

Just three weeks after filing for a patent for his carbon trade system, Bartels was killed during the attacks of 9/11. Bartels’ death opened the door for a new partner to join CCX, easily the oddest fit of them all: Fannie Mae. In a move still unexplained, the quasi-governmental mortgage agency, led by CEO Franklin Raines, purchased the rights to the system from Bartel’s widow. A patent on the invention was granted to Raines and Fannie Mae on November 7, 2006, ironically, the day after the Democrats regained control of Congress. According to Barbara Hollingsworth of the Washington Examiner, the patent covers both the “cap” and “trade” parts of Obama’s top domestic energy initiative and gives Fannie Mae proprietary control over the automated trading system used by Sandor’s CCX.

When asked about the patent recently Fannie Mae communications director Amy Bonitatibus told the Washington Examiner, “Fannie Mae earns no money on this patent. We can’t conjecture as to the cap-and-trade legislation.” A source close to Fannie Mae, however, says a plan is in place to funnel future earnings from the patent to a non-profit housing organization called Enterprise Community Partners. Ironically, Raines, who left Fannie Mae in 2004 amidst allegations that he inflated earnings reports in order to collect higher bonuses ($52 million in bonuses over 5-years; $90 million in total compensation), serves on the board of trustees at Enterprise. In a continuation of theme, Goldman Sachs also has a representative on the board in the person of Alicia Glen.

The streets of our country are in turmoil. The universities are filled with students rebelling and rioting. Communists are seeking to destroy our country. Wonderful! I will forward this to everyone I can. Please note my own efforts at http://www.brucemaynes.wordpress.com

  25. Tom Alexander says:

What you are doing is great! We need more people like us (freedom lovers) to speak up and this is one manifestation of that. I have witnessed a couple of your billboards in MN. I hope this goes viral. We the People need to send a clear message to the political/ruling class regardless of their party affiliation. Thanks. tfa

  26. Before the text of my message: Can you please create (or direct me to) a FaceBook link so I can post this there? That, plus a decent YouTube video, could go a long way towards building this concept quickly. Thank you!

Hi! Love what you’re doing. In spite of the arguements against it, I see your signs more as a way to prod people, a thorn in the side maybe, a tool to somehow get folks to wake-up, to think, to get involved and act while it’s still possible. Of course the message is simple, but the point is to make an impact, not provide a comprehensive representation of the entire issue. And if they’re biased, so be it; I’ll take that over the concerted efforts of this administration to confuse, misdirect and outright lie – virtually say or do anything it/they can get away with – in order to further their agenda. Unfortunately, America is being steam-rollered, and we need to be as direct, as blunt, as thought & action-provoking as possible to even have a chance to save/reclaim a Constitutional republic known as the United States. We can either be citizens or slaves. ANYTHING legal/non-violent to make folks aware of the options, while there’s still a choice, is a worthy endeavor. I applaud your efforts, and I applaud that you’ve actually made this a non-income-producing enterprise…for the potential good of the country, rather than yourselves. Bravo!!!

  27. We’re promoting an economic solution that pays off the debt and immediately lifts us out of the entire economic mess … without a tax increase. You guys would probably like it, and it can inspire people to take action: adopted by TX GOP at 2008 State Convention, changing platform to call for immediate conversion; embraced by grassroots Democrats at four Change Is Coming meetings; advanced by San Antonio Tea Party.

Joe the Plumber likes it, too. I’d love to send it to you and see what ya’ll think.

I think what is happening is a revolution in getting back our country. Less government is a good thing. Getting the message out in a WH controled environment is very expensive and difficult. This is a very good grassroots way of getting people of all walks of life engaged and empowered. My company own 900 53ft dry vans that travel throughout the US. I would like information on how to get some of them setup for traveling advertising. If someone out there knows hows to go about it please give me a note. Thanks and lets keep the good word going.

    Thanks

You can download the image you want to use and provide it to a local vinyl vehicle wrap company, such as http://www.skinzwraps.com/truck-graphics-wrap.html
The vinyl company will print and apply the graphics. If it’s just a flat panel on a box truck, it should be pretty simple and affordable. Probably cheaper than renting a billboard. Let us know where you’re based and we can try to find a suitable company in your area if you like. Great idea!

  29. Jeffrey Jon says:

I was thinking of another billboard you might want to consider. It will also reference the November elections.
In 2 Kings: 16 & 17; Elisha speaks these words to his disciple: “And he answered, Fear not; for they that be with us are more than they that be with them.” ” And Elisha prayed, and said, Lord, I pray thee, open his eyes, that he may see. And the Lord opened the eyes of the young man; and he saw; and, behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire round about Elisha.”
We need to send a reminder, that there are more of us than them, and we can make the difference. Everyone who loves God, Traditional Families, Freedom without reprisals, the Constitution, and fair and just laws, must get out to vote, to show those who wish to rule with impunity, that there are more of us than them…no matter how much money they have.

  30. tammy ziegler says:

I think these are a great idea. We non the other hand are a very small Antique Business that is su[[orted yet by our trucking business that industry has also took a big dive. Would like to be involved but can not meet even 500. a month. We are in Barnesville, MN if you haveany other ideas.

  31. American Taxpayer says:

Mr. Toavs, the problem is, the U.S. is -NOT- a democracy. It is a CONSTITUTIONAL REPUBLIC. If you want to live in a democracy, find another nation that meets your expectations and help populate it! The U.S. will never be a democracy. The U.S. Constitution, the laws on which this great nation was founded, doesn’t allow it.

  32. Rene says:

It is so dissappointing to see that the same gullible people taken by the GOP, and business, again are being brainwashed to believe that change requires time and not billboards indicating the opposite. Did those of you who support this lunacy read that this is supported by businessmen?!! They are the ones that backed Bush, the Patriot Act, and all the other right depriving laws implemented by such.

But then, what is expected of those that are barely literate to understand the complexities of a Democracy as the first gentlemen stated. Go ahead and place these billboards and soon enough we will all be servants to those who have. In case you haven’t noticed most of us are have not!

  33. Roseann says:

I find it very disheartening that this is something to be celebrated. Just when we have a President that is trying to get this country back on track after the asswipe that ruined it for 8 years, we have all of this! I seem to recall that it was against the law for any of us to do anything like this when BUSH was in office-decreed by him and his Administration. So, I guess now that America has it Freedom back we don’t know what to do with it but, bite the hand that gave it back their Freedoms?

  34. Tammy says:

The one with the Constitution that says “Miss Me Yet” is perfect! Maybe those who think this is a democracy should go back and read our founding documents. It’s not a democracy and was never meant to be. America is a Constitutional Republic. It was NEVER intended that 51% could force the other 49% to do their bidding!

How many times have we said the “Pledge of Allegiance” in our lives? “….and to the Republic for which it stands…” Do that many people just not listen to the words they speak?

  35. Marly says:

I just found this site and the first comment by Douglas Toavs caught my attention. The spelling of the name is slightly different but if I’m not mistake he was and probally still is a payed staff member of the anointed one in D.C. It was in our local paper about him working for Obama on the campaign. These type people can not understand how much damage they doing to this country with they reckless spending .

  36. travis says:

A few things you could add to your bill board are the take over of banks. financial reform. take over of 60% of economy, loss of national sovereignty, alienation of our allies. embracing of our enemies, fundamental transformation, and abandonment of the constitution and welcome hyper inflation

  37. brian prentis says:

if i had any “extra” money i would send you some. i have a suggestion instead. in austin, mn. we have hormel. they have many signs that are wide open for witty rebuttles on a nearby sign, such as ” spam.. see whats inside…” the next billboard should read, whats inside?? a factory full of illegal immigrants. $11.40 per hr. zero days without injury, you get the idea, good luck and i hope i see a “rebuttal” sign soon. thanks again for the great work, god is great beer is good and people are crafty. whoo hooo!

    • doctorforeman says:

Please don’t send any money. Find some people to help pay to put up a billboard in your community instead.

  38. Mark says:

This is great! We are doing a similar thing within our district in Illinois – the 17th. Our website, http://www.focpac.com, Friends of the Constitution, is also a resource on the constitution, our experience in placing billboards (we have five listed so far), and how we went about forming a PAC (we have a non-connected PAC). We make one of our photos – a picture of a little girl with a debt sign around her neck – available for reuse depending on the nature of the ad. Whether you like these billboards or not, America needs to get involved in our political process. I’d rather grab 1000 people at random and send them to Washington then to continue to be ‘represented’ by the folks currently in power – left or right. America is at a crossroads; saying the issues are too complex is just delaying the inevitable. We are either going to slip into a socialist malaise, or (and what is my hope), return to strong states’ rights with a Federal government that abides by a strict interpretation of the constitution. Congrats to FreedomBoardsAcrossAmerica!

  39. Rita Bonasera says:

I am the Membership Chair for a non profit, The Conservative Forum of Silicon Valley. I am promoting the idea of a billboard to the Executive Committee to engage people. I would like to put our website address somewhere on the billboard so people have an avenue to act. Is that possible?

    • doctorforeman says:

I don’t think that’s a problem as long as you leave the billboard design in tact and leave the freedomboardsacrossamerica.com address unaltered. Some imagery used is licensed to freedomboardsacrossamerica.com and it would be a violation of coyright to use the imagery outside that context.

You all have soooo much to say now, but didn’t have a *%&@#$*# thing to say back when Bush and Cheney were stomping all over everything and everyone. Congratulations – you’ve proved that it’s not on behalf of your country that you’re upset. It’s on behalf of your politics, or is it your paychecks? Yeah, that sounds about right. You don’t give a #$%* about what happens to the country, as long as your $$ isn’t affected.

There are serious issues with our country. But it’s not Obama that you should be angry with. It’s yourselves. YOU let it get here, twiddling your thumbs because your taxes weren’t really being affected much.

    Pathetic.

For all the commentors that decry the Bush years, the perversion of our government started long ago. No one party is to blame although the Democrats seem to like big government much more than the Republicans. The current Dem majority is overwhelmingly left – if not outright socialist – when America is a center/right leaning population. This is why the public has become energized. (The Fed running the printing presses 24/7 should give everyone the heebie jeebies!)

I can’t remember when I last voted for a candidate I really felt good about. I always felt I was voting for the lesser of two evils. But the real issue at stake is our Constitution with all the freedoms it guarantees, and many thanks to all who pointed out that a Constitutional Republic protects us from mob rule.

Venezuela is a democracy. The USA is NOT but check out the usdebtclock.org and imagine what could happen to our society when the buck stops. Like in Greece, Spain, Portugal, Ireland.

When both houses of Congress and the executive branch ignore the feedback being given them by the people and enact comprehensive legislation such as health care and at the same time ignore our open border /llegal immigration problem which contributes to the health care issue; it is imperative for the people to take action in the voting booth.

These billboards are mostly great, but if they were scaled to printable bumper stickers, then individuals could utlize hem to express these postions.

  42. John Angsman says:

We’re 18 months into this administration and the Democrat/Liberals are still blaming everything on Bush. They need to take responsibility for their own ineptitude.

Thank you, so much, for your great ideas! I’m so sorry for the vicious comments that have appeared here. :( It is sad that there is so much ‘blame’ going around when, actually, many generations need to accept the ‘blame’ because, ours included, simply because we haven’t made the Gov. accountable for far too long!

Now is the ‘time’ to take our constitution and God given country back. It will be a fight, an internal fight, but when we have our military fighting such a strange war, but neccessary war, and all of the service is voluntary now–we need to back them at home!! We need to fight on the ‘homefront’ for these brave soldiers, and those who have died before them. :( I promised a couple I know, who joined the military, that we were fighting on the ‘homefront’ as they were fighting in foreign countries, and will never stop as long as we live–and we hope to pass on this vision/passion to others before our lives are over on this earth.

I do have a question. Would you mind if I painted my own sign to display in my own yard, copying your sign ideas?
I have been having this idea in my head/heart that I need to put a sign in my yard to wake people up. We live on the 2nd most travelled street in our small town. I believe it would help! Thanks for your answer ahead of time. And, again, thanks that you are here! :)

It seems like there is finally some good news with the spill. The Houston Chronicle reports, U.S. ships were being outfitted earlier this month with four pairs of skimming booms airlifted from the Netherlands and should be deployed within days.” Could this be the turning point? For all those feeling pretty gloomy about this situation, I recommend a good laugh… Here’s a funny joke, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dd0svVWfFbo

Our first billboard went up today (june 22, 2010) on Aurora Avenue North, the main highway through the Seattle area:

We have set up a Political Action Committee to raise money for billboards in our city. We have identified the two of your billboards we want to start with. How do we get the art work to the billboard contractor?
    Thanks,
    Don

Simply download the hi-res graphics and email the file to them. Alternately, they can just get it off the website.

I’m in Houston….do you know of anyone that is working on this in town. I have the $ backing but need someone to do the leg work etc…

IT’s Great to see such complex issues turned into such simplistic slogans and visuals for people who don’t really have time to consider the complexities of life. Well done.

  49. Dave Schumacher says:

We want to use the baby with the slogan welcome, you owe the government 850,000 dollars. But we are concerned that the amount stated may be inflated. Can you tell me how that number was generated? I can’t get it that high with what I know about the government debt or the unfunded liabilities. Thanks so much..

  50. Carol says:

I am very interested in securing one of your designs for a local billboard, but I do not see a way to place an order.
Would you please respond AS SOON AS POSSIBLE?
